Jillian Goldstein

Hai! My name is Jillian. What can I say? I’m a person first and foremost. I always have to remind myself….I’m a fallible human and so is everybody else. I love children and have several years of experience working with preschoolers. At present I feel inspired to go back to school to study physical therapy so that’s what I’m doing. That inspiration is a direct result of yoga; it stimulated the realization of just how much I enjoy helping people move, breathe and connect therapeutically with their body. The first time I took a yoga class was in 2012 when I moved to Florida. My affection and devotion to yoga practice began growing over the next few years in part because of the fortunate exposure to a wide variety of classes and teachers I experienced in Gainesville and its surrounding towns. In October of 2017 I finally took the leap I needed and obtained my YTT 200 in Nepal. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to learn about the 8 limb path in the region it was conceived in, from a teacher native to that region. In my classes I aim to create an atmosphere of acceptance for all. I incorporate pranayama (breath work) as well as asana (postures).
